Peter Hooper LL.B (JCU), Acc. Spec.: Family Law
Peter Hooper, Associate, joined Hartley Healy in May 2007. In March 2008, Peter was appointed to the position of Associate and now works closely with many members of the Hartley Healy team to service clients Family Law requirements.
Peter was admitted as a solicitor in 2001 and has practiced exclusively in Family Law since 2004. Prior to working in Family Law, Peter worked in Commercial and Insurance Litigation for a top national firm.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from James Cook University and completed a Specialist Accreditation in Family Law in 2007.
Peter's professional affiliations include membership with the Queensland Law Society as well as the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland. He is admitted to practice as a solicitor in the High Court Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland.
Peter works closely with many industry professionals to ensure clients are provided with appropriate and comprehensive advice and support regarding their Family Law matters. Peter has extensive experience in all aspects of Family Law but he has a particular interest in complex parenting matters, relocation matters and Child Protection.
