Although they have both been with us for some time, we are delighted to announce and congratulate both Gabrielle Baker (“Gabi”) and Nikila Schomberg (“Niki”) on their recent admissions as solicitors of the Supreme Court of Queensland. Both Gabi and Niki previously worked as law clerks with our firm and showed a high degree of passion and enthusiasm for their work. We are delighted to now welcome them on board as fully fledged family law solicitors of Hartley Healy.
Nikila is a newly admitted solicitor after graduating with honours from Bachelor of Laws at the University of Queensland and completing her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law.
Nikila also has a Bachelor of Economics and background in accounting and is particularly interested in complex property matters.
Nikila was drawn to the practice of family law due to the diverse legal challenges it presents and is dedicated to the Hartley Healy approach of resolving matters in a manner that reduces client’s emotional and financial strain.
Gabrielle was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in May 2016.
Gabrielle holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Journalism from the Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Gabrielle has worked at Hartley Healy since 2014, originally as an administration clerk, then a legal assistant and then law clerk before becoming a solicitor.
Gabrielle works closely with Brett and Joe and the other senior lawyers of Hartley Healy to assist clients in all areas of family law including children’s matters, property settlement, financial agreements and spousal maintenance. She is passionate about being able to assist clients in the challenging situations that arise in Family Law and provide them with the best outcome for their matter.
