Beata Leszczuk B.A. LLB. (U.Q.) Grad Dip L.P. Acc.Spec.:Family Law

Beata Leszczuk, Associate, joined Hartley Family Law Services (Hartley Healy) in August 2002. Beata works closely with Brett and Joe as a team, servicing clients’ Family Law related requirements.  Beata is also available for those clients who prefer to deal with a female Family Law Solicitor. Beata was appointed to the position of Associate in July 2006. Since April 2007, Beata has worked closely with Partners Brett and Joe in establishing, and consequently heading up, the firms Gold Coast office.

Beata was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 2001. Beata is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Queensland.

Beata has worked exclusively in Family Law for the past six years. She has extensive experience in complex property matters, children's matters as well as divorce proceedings.

In 2008, Beata presented a seminar on “The Essential Facts of Family Law – Entitlements at Property Settlement” at the CRC Solvency Solutions Seminar on the Gold Coast. This seminar brought together some of Queensland 's most experienced professionals to discuss issues relevant to their given fields. In 2007, Beata presented a paper on the courts treatment of windfall and inheritance in property proceedings.Beata's qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology major) from the University of Queensland .  Beata graduated from the Queensland University of Technology Legal Practice Course in 2001. In 2007, Beata received her Specialist Accreditation in Family Law.

Beata received her Certificate of Representation of Children in Family Law from the Family Law Section Law Council of Australia in conjunction with National Legal Aid and the College of Law.

Having a strong commitment to voluntary work, Beata has been a volunteer Family Law Solicitor with both Women’s Legal Service and Caxton Legal Centre since 2002.
