Brett Hartley, a Partner and Senior Family Lawyer of Hartley Healy, has practiced exclusively in Family Law since 1989. He has both a law and a commerce degree and is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law .
Brett is nationally recognised as a leading expert in Family Law complex property matters and valuation of property. Brett has been a contributing author to the CCH Australian Family Law and Practice publication.He authored part of the “ Property Settlement ” section and the “ Valuation of Property & Business ” section.
Joe Healy, Partner & Family Law Solicitor, joined Hartley Family Law Services (Hartley Healy) in February 2002 and was promoted to the position of Associate in July 2002. Joe entered into partnership with Brett Hartley on 1 July 2005. The firm changed its name to Hartley Healy in September 2006.
He has both a law and a business degree and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist .
Joe is a member of the Queensland Law Society , the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Family Law Practitioners' Association of Queensland . Joe was on the Board of Directors for the Family Law Practitioners Association in 2006.
Beata Leszczuk, Associate, joined Hartley Family Law Services (Hartley Healy) in August 2002. Beata works closely with Brett and Joe as a team, servicing clients’ Family Law related requirements. Beata is also available for those clients who prefer to deal with a female Family Law Solicitor. Beata was appointed to the position of Senior Associate in July 2006. Since April 2007, Beata has worked closely with Partners Brett and Joe in establishing, and consequently heading up, the firms Gold Coast office.
Beata was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 2001. Beata is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Queensland.
Gavin Lai joined Hartley Healy in November 2007.
Gavin holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Queensland University of Technology and completed his Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Education and Training at the University of Queensland.
